Speaker 1:Boys and girls, I'm so excited once again for you to join me in listening to this podcast today. Take a moment and go ahead and subscribe to this so you don't miss any new episodes. As I always do, I bring you a question for you to ponder on today, and that question is this Do you know how important it is that you are the light of this world? You see, according to Matthew 5, verses 14-16, jesus tells us that we are the light for this world. Just like a lamp gives light to a room, our actions and our kindness can help others see the goodness of God. We should always try to do good things so that people can see the love of God through us. It's like that first day when God made light and expelled the darkness when he created the world. We are the light to this lost and dying world.
Speaker 1:As Christians, we are light in the Lord, according to Ephesians 5, verse 8. However, we must learn to shine that light. This is possible because Jesus is that light to this world and we are the servants of the Master. People are watching how we live and react to our own circumstances. When we are kind, forgiving, loving and so on, it will shine. On the other hand, when we are not displaying the attributes of God, our works cannot be hidden either. Live each day as if someone is watching you. Before they decide to serve the Lord, you could be the only Jesus someone will ever see. Let's pray, lord Jesus. Help us today to live by your word. Thank you for helping us to share our story with the way we live our lives. Help us to be light to the lost. Teach us to do good works so that the report among people will cause them to think well of Christianity and serving the Lord. Amen.
