What's the secret to overcoming life's greatest challenges? The answer lies not in our strength, strategies, or resources, but in something far more fundamental—our faith in Jesus Christ.

The scripture makes a bold declaration that "every child of God defeats the evil world" and that we achieve this victory specifically through our faith. It's not a suggestion or a possibility—it's a promise.
When confronted with addiction, political turmoil, relationship difficulties, or any struggle imaginable, there's one constant path to triumph: believing that Jesus is the Son of God. This isn't religious platitude; it's practical wisdom for navigating life's complexities. The beauty of God's approach is that His commandments aren't burdensome restrictions but rather the very tools that enable our success.

How do we win in this world? What does it take? You see, in 1 John, chapter 5, the Bible says in the New Living Translation everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has become a child of God. And everyone who loves the Father loves the children too. We know we love God's children if we love God and obey His commandments. Loving God means keeping his commandments, and his commandments are not burdensome, for every child of God defeats the evil world and we achieve the victory through our faith. And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the son of God.
Speaker 1:Boys and girls, moms and dads, we look at the scripture today and we realize that the only way we can win in the world that we live in every situation, against every political situation, every turmoil, every struggle, every addiction, everything that we could ever possibly face in this life, we've got to instruct our children. And boys and girls, listen to me we must believe in Jesus as the Son of God in order to win. My question to you today is do you want to win against this world? Do you want to win this battle? Do you want to succeed? I believe you do. Let's pray, father. We do come to you in your precious loving name. We ask God that you help us to put you first, to believe in you and have faith in you, so that we can win against the battles of the evil one in this world. Father, we give you the praise, amen.
